Founded in 1900, the club has re-located three times. The first 2 locations at the Show Park and Blacklaw had to give way to the development of the new town of East Kilbride. The current course at Nerston on the edge of East Kilbride celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2007 and is considered to be one of Lanarkshire’s best tests of golf.
The Nerston course is a mature, challenging parkland course measuring 6402 yards and offers a great variety of holes; genuine 3 shot par 5 holes often played into the prevailing wind, * Testing par 3’s, * Well manicured fairways fringed by a vast assortment of mature trees, * Well presented greens which reach their peak in the summer months to provide fine putting surfaces.
