We are Eastbourne Downs Golf Course – a friendly golf course ensuring affordable golf for all in and around Eastbourne.

For over 100 years we have been committed to bringing quality golf to all, ensuring this great sport of ours lives on and on and that our Course is around for many more years to come. We aim to provide a friendly and relaxed golf experience, respecting the traditions of golf but also keeping ourselves up to date.

Although we are a members club, you don’t need to be a member to play here and enjoy our Course. You can come and play our course most days and times, pop into our clubhouse, relax and enjoy our now famous hospitality.

The course is steeped in history and has come a long way since the original course was developed by our founders and the clubhouse ‘moved up top’. Take a look at our history page for a feel of where the club has it’s roots

Depending on the time of year you can experience fast running fairways and tight lies to soft receptivegreens into a stiff breeze. Whatever your skill level you’ll find the course a superb test of golf. No two days will play the same at the Downs offering you the ability to develop a wide range of skills and shots.
