Welcome to Glasgow Golf Club, Founded in 1787, it is the ninth oldest golf club in the World. We are a members’ club, and we believe we’re unique, as we have two top-quality courses 35 miles apart.
At Killermont, on the North bank of the River Kelvin, and just five miles from Glasgow city centre, we enjoy a manicured parkland course which follows the original line of play to the greensites laid out by Old Tom Morris in December 1903. The course has hosted many prestigious events over the years.
At Gailes, on the Ayrshire coast, we have a challenging links course. It was designed by Willie Park Jnr in 1912 and we are naturally proud of the fact that it is chosen regularly by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club as a final qualifying course for the Open Championship.
The clubhouses at both courses reflect our long history, and the traditions of the game we hold dear. We are happy to share our excellent facilities and welcome visitors from all over the World, some of whom may be interested in the limited number of overseas memberships which are available.
