Haltwhistle Golf Club Cumbria

Haltwhistle Golf Club is the only golf club on both Hadrian’s Wall footpath and the Pennine Way.

This golf course offers excellent views over the Tyne Valley, East to Haltwhistle and beyond. To the North and West lie Gilsland, Brampton and Spadeadam.

The area is steeped in history. With Thirlwall Castle on the doorstep, the remains of Hadrian;s Wall crossing the golf course and where tales of the Romans and Border Reivers abound.

Spadeadam is noted of course for the development of the Blue Streak Missile. The small town of Haltwhistle is close by with its many amenities and boasts the title of the “Centre of Britain”
