John O’Gaunt Golf Club Bedfordshire

In beautiful Mid- Bedfordshire countryside, about two-thirds of the way along the B1040 from Biggleswade to Potton, and laid out on both sides of the road, you will find John O’Gaunt Golf Club. John O’Gaunt has to be one of the premier private Golf Clubs in southern England.

With its 36 Hole complex now matured into two golf courses of quite differing degrees of difficulty, John O’Gaunt is the envy of most visitors. The clubhouse, the stately home of the Burgoyne family for so many years, obviously has a tremendous historical ambience which the golf club has managed to maintain to a remarkable degree. In doing so, however, it still provides excellent modern facilities for its members and visitors.

In 1993 and 2004 the English Golf Union successfully held the English Seniors Championship over the John O’Gaunt course.
