An 18-hole (5,860 yds) par 70 css 69 (White tees) heath and parkland layout . The club was established in 1895, with the course being extended to 18 holes in 1924 under the direction of James Braid. In 2000 6 new holes were opened for play, extending the course to its current length,and providing a fair challenge for golfers of all standards.
The combination of tree lined fairways,rolling terrain, and well placed bunkers reward accurate play, with the greens amongst the best in the district. The course is enjoyable to walk, with no major climbs, and good course layout has minimised distances between holes. The club is located 1 km to the North of Kirkintilloch, within 20 minutes drive of central Glasgow.
The course is in a rural setting, with superb views of the Campsie hills from most holes. Kirkintilloch Golf Club prides itself on being a friendly club, and we welcome enquiries from visiting parties, or fellow golfers interested in membership.
