The superbly upgraded parkland layout where an imaginative revamping in 2007 of the course by Declan and Ronan Brannigan has developed the land on the Barnhill estate bordering Lough Swilly into one of the finest in the country.

Situated in a magnificent scenic parkland setting, bordering on the shore of Lough Swilly, the course was originally carved out of natural woodlands. As a result there exists today a magnificent natural wildlife habitat that especially supports a spectacular mixture of birdlife.
