Long Sutton Golf Club Somerset

The 18 hole course was designed by Patrick Dawson and extends to approximately 6,329 yards (par 71) off the white tees. The course is pleasantly undulating, the greens are fabulously maintained and extensive tree planting is now providing additional maturity. Long Sutton is definitely a “Thinking Man’s” Golf Course. Wo-betide the first time visitor who comes here armed with Driver in-hand and starts blazing his way down our tricky fairways.

To keep the course visitor-friendly, we have resisted the modern trend to line the fairways with heavy rough and have you spend half your round looking for golf balls. However, the variety of trees, well-placed sand traps, ponds, ditches, hedges and challenging undulating greens will keep even the most hardened of golfers on their toes at all times.
