It is with justification that The Milngavie Golf Club is considered by many to be the finest golf course in the district. The course is situated just 15 minutes from the West End of Glasgow and lies on the edge of Mugdock Country Park and adjacent to the West Highland Way.
This absolutely stunning location provides golfers with fantastic views over Glasgow, the central belt and the Campsie Fells.
The Club was founded in 1895, our current course was designed by Willie and Laurie Auchterlonie with later features added by the legendary James Braid.
Course Manager, Wallace Wilson, and his dedicated team, work hard to present the course at it’s very best throughout the year and, working practice is aligned to R&A guidelines for sustainability.
Members and Visitors often comment upon the tranquillity of our unique location and this adds to the experience of our testing but enjoyable course. The Black Tee Course has a par of 70 and stretches to 6,107 yards, this is indeed a challenge for the very best of golfers. The White Tee course, over which Medals are played, is a par of 68. A shorter Red Tee course is also available over 5333 yards. Golfers are invited to play whichever course they choose.
Have a look at our hole flyover, the course looks great from the air but it’s even better from the tees!
