Mount Juliet Golf Course is set in a world of its own, on lush parkland in the south east of Ireland, and only 20 minutes from Kilkenny ; The Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at Mount Juliet is a centerpiece of one of Ireland’s finest golf courses. Blessed with this unique setting, Nicklaus has created a challenging championship golf course and is presented in excellent condition throughout the year.
Ireland has long being known as one of the top golf destinations in the world, with a variety of parkland golf courses available. Mount Juliet has recently been voted Best Parkland Golf Course in Ireland by Backspin Golf Magazine, March 2008. This is not the first time that Mount Juliet Golf Course has been given such high praise, as Mount Juliet Golf Course won Irish Golf Tour Operators Association Golf Course of the year for 2003. Mount Juliet Golf Course also received international recognition and acclaim for it’s hosting of the 2002 and 2004 American Express World Golf Championships, which were won by Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. Mount Juliet has also held 3 Irish Open Championships.
Mount Juliet Golf Club is open to visitors all year round, and run a series of Open Golf Competitions, in our Winter and Summer Series. Booking of golf at Mount Juliet Golf Course is available on-line and Mount Juliet welcomes golfing groups and golf societies, with special rates for golfing groups which have more than 16 in their party.
