Nefyn & District Golf Club Gwynedd
The Course
You’ll be guaranteed a golfing experience to remember here at Nefyn.
Perfectly situated on the spectacular northern coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula, our 27 hole layout consists of an 18 hole Championship Course, which not only offers golfers a rich variety of breathtaking views and scenery, but also a constantly changing set of challenges which require, if at all possible, the golfers full attention.
In addition, you can also choose to play our world famous ‘Point’ which offers 9 holes of breathtaking golf along the thin stretch of land that encroaches out into the Irish Sea. During allocated tee times, the ‘Point’ can be played as an 18 hole course when paired with the Championship Course’s front nine or as part of a 27 hole package.
You really have to see it to believe it!
The Championship
The Championship course pairs up the clifftop front nine (Yellow) with the back nine which is a more inland section of the course (Red).
There is a good mix of holes that offers golfers a true test of their ability but also plenty of opportunities to score well.
The Old Course
The Old Course combines the stunning and rustic beauty of our ‘world famous’ Point 9 holes (Blue) with the tough clifftop setting of the front nine of the Championship course (Yellow).
This combination can be played in any of two configurations with the Point (Blue) being played as your back or front nine.
We’re very proud of all 27 holes at Nefyn, but here are 6 that many of our visitors tell us really stand out to them.
The Championship front nine’s 2nd and 5th holes showcase Nefyn’s unique location. The 4th and 7th holes along the Point represent just two of the many golfing challenges and the Championship’s back nine’s 3rd and 6th holes are a pair of testing par 4’s.
