Newlands Golf Club Co Dublin
Newlands Golf Course was designed by the famous James Braid, the first golfer to win the British Open Championship five times. Amongst his other notable creations were the King’s and Queen’s Course at Gleneagles, Carnoustie and Dalmahoy.
Newlands Golf Course is generally regarded as one of the finest park land courses in Dublin. We have an excellent course staff and course committee who are continually working on maintaining and improving the course.
Newlands is easily accessible from the M50 and Naas Road Dual Carriageway. The course is a mere 13 kilometres from Dublin City in the suburb of Clondalkin. A lovely view of the 6th and 7th holes can be seen when crossing the flyover at Newlands Cross.
Many members in the club are from the local environs of Templeogue, Tallaght, Lucan, Rathfarnham and, of course, Clondalkin itself. However, Newlands prides itself on extending a warm welcome to all so we hope you will consider visiting us.
