Pitreavie (Dunfermline) Golf Club Fife

Pitreavie (Dunfermline) Golf Club Fife

Pitreavie Golf Club, is an undulating parkland course with views across the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh and beyond. Opened in 1922 the course was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, the man widely acclaimed for producing one of the finest courses in the world, Augusta National in Georgia, the annual home of the US Masters.

One of its strongest features are the double and triple tiered greens, a trade mark of Dr Alister MacKenzie. Get on the wrong side of one of these and you could be in four-putt territory.

The 18 hole course has a meandering burn running throughout, affecting 12 of the holes. The course is 6,032 yards with a par 71 (SSS 69).
