Pontypridd Golf Club Mid Glamorgan

Pontypridd Golf Club’s course is beautifully sited above the town and valleys on The Common, a tract of land some 400 feet above sea level that is shared with “Y Garreg Siglo” the prehistoric stone circle with its noted Rolling Stone.

Above the course the steep hillsides rise to well over the thousand foot mark, whilst from nearly every green magnificent views are given over the huddled town in the Taff valley below and across the smooth rising slopes of 1,250 foot Mynydd-y-Glyn beyond the valley. Few courses have such a beautiful setting and indeed the Pontypridd Club is acknowledged to be one of the best in Wales.

Its premier status is undoubtedly due, not only to its fine position, but to the hard work of its past and present members.
