Arguably, the signature hole is the 15th with a drive into the elbow of the dog-leg and an approach from a down-hill lie to a green protected by the Findon Burn, which meanders through the course impacting on many of the holes on the front nine holes. Don’t “under-club” or you won’t cross the burn, but being past the pin leaves a treacherous down-hill putt.
The Golf Course has been designed as two circuits of nine holes, each returning to the Clubhouse. There are four measured courses ranging from the Blue course at just over 5700 yards to the White course at 6670 yards – choose to match you and your visitors capabilities. As well as a large practice ground, we have also built a driving range and short-hole pitching area. Buggy hire is available at modest rates.
Course development has seen the planting of approx. 200,00 trees, restoration of the dry-stane dykes, construction of stone bridges and major expenditure on equipment to ensure that our course is maintained to the highest standards.
