Our mature downland course, with its rolling fairways, fine turf and stunning views over the horizon of London, just 12 miles away, is a unique setting; and once played the experience is never forgotten. It is an experience that has been enjoyed by golfers since 1894.
We are a private members club with a clubhouse, terrace and veranda that enjoy an elevated position overlooking the “signature” 1st hole, a par 3, setting the stage for the challenge ahead.
You can relax in the tranquillity of the clubhouse or terrace and enjoy not only the vista, but also our traditional warm welcome and renowned hospitality, whilst partaking in a drink or lunch or both.
Looking beyond the scenic 1st hole from either the clubhouse, veranda or terrace you will enjoy the expansive views of our rolling fairways, with their fine chalk based turf, enabling good quality golf to be played 52 weeks a year.
