Reddish Vale Golf Club Cheshire

Welcome to Reddish Vale Golf Club, one of the most interesting and enjoyable venues in the north of England.

Formed in 1912, the club occupies around 100 acres of the Tame valley, known as Reddish Vale. Seven holes are in Lancashire and the other eleven in Cheshire, divided by the river Tame which meanders through the course.

A combination of natural beauty and expert design has created a varied and challenging course, which is a credit to our world renowned course architect, Dr Alister MacKenzie. With excellent greens, and with no two holes alike, much of our course will remain lodged in the mind until long after you have played here.

The view from our Victorian clubhouse must be with ease, the best view in Stockport.

You will be forgiven for not believing that you are only 5 miles from Manchester, and just inside the M60 motorway when playing golf here. The old ‘hidden gem’ phrase, now coined by so many, is not sufficient to do justice to Reddish Vale.

Located down in the Vale, the course provides a first class golfing experience, and feels a world away from the hustle and bustle just around the corner. To fully appreciate the beauty and relaxed pace of the golf course, you need to be here.
