Richings Park Golf Club is built in the Park of a grand Eighteenth Century Country House. The course benefits from the many surviving old trees, which were carefully planted to create a fine setting for the original house. The Withy Brook flows through the grounds and this along with a number of lakes provides added interest.

The par 70 course has been laid out to make use of these very attractive features. It is a real challenge for the more accomplished golfer while the less experienced will still find it enjoyable. The main house was demolished shortly after the war but many original features survive. The car park is in an old walled garden and from there you walk through an arch to the 1740 cobbled yard, which houses the locker rooms and indoor practise area.

There is a driving range close by, and two PGA Professionals are available to give lessons. The recently built Clubhouse is just to the south, alongside the brook. It houses a well stocked Pro-Shop, a popular bar, restaurant and private dining room.

There are extensive outside seating areas, which are much used in the summer months. Richings Park has a notably friendly atmosphere and visitors to the course and Clubhouse are made feel welcome by the Members. In addition to the many Golf Societies, who regularly play the course we play host to corporate and charity golf days and small conferences as well as numerous weddings and private parties.
