Sheerness Golf Club Kent
Sheerness Golf Club was formed in 1909 and is a traditional private member’s club situated on the Isle of Sheppey in the Thames Estuary, Kent.
Once described in Golf Monthly as one of Kent’s best kept secrets, this 18 hole semi-links course is a stone’s throw away from the sea. It is long & flat and has matured with a variety of natural hazards in the form of dykes, plus other water hazards, to provide a challenge to golfers in all handicap ranges. The wind plays its part on adding to the degree of difficulty.
The Club has excellent facilities and apart from the strong men’s, ladies and senior sections we also encourage junior participation. Indeed, our juniors won the Kent Golf League in 2008.
People seeking golfing or social memberships are most welcome to apply.
Five & seven day memberships are available.
We are sure you will discover that sheerness Golf Club has a charm distinctly its own.
Golf societies and corporate days are welcome at Sheerness Golf Club.
We can suggest different formats for competitions to make your day more enjoyable, provide nearest the pin & longest drive markers, and can even do the scoring if required.
Whilst handicap certificates are not required to play, a good standard of golf and knowledge of etiquette is expected.
You can add whatever level of catering you require to fit around your golf. The catering facility offers a wide range of meals for your day, from home made soup and sandwiches to a three course meal.
