Welcome to Silver Birch Golf Club.

Only a stone’s throw away from the A55, Silver Birch Golf Club in Betws yn Rhos offers two 9-hole courses for golfers of all abilities to relax and enjoy the game. Situated within a picturesque rural village, golfers can enjoy stunning views of both the sea and mountains as they practice their skills.

Silver Birch has become one of the most popular ‘Pay & Play’ courses on the North Wales golfing scene. Situated in a natural hollow, the Front 9 was completed in 1995 and the Back 9 in 2004 allowing a full 18 holes to be played. It has recently been affiliated to the Golfing Union of Wales, with a very difficult SSS of 59 for the whole course.

Designed with the complete amateur in mind, the course is also a very challenging one for the low handicap player. Many a keen golfer has cursed the “Grand Canyon” which, as the name implies, is played over a gorge with a stream in the bottom.

The less committed player could be forgiven for a lapse of concentration to simply stand and enjoy the views from the course which take in lush green pastures, wooded hillsides and the village of Betws-yn-Rhos nestling in the shelter of the hills with its attractive and historical twin tower Church at its centre.

Play 9 or 18 holes of Golf !

The choice is yours, you can play the Front 9 or the Back 9 or combine both for a full 18 holes of Golf.

We welcome individual players as well as those searching for a challenging but satisfying group activity. It’s surprising how much is discussed and important decisions made over a game of Golf…..

Open all year round – weather permitting !

Silver Birch G.C. can be enjoyed throughout the year – no membership is required.

Just turn up to ‘Pay & Play’. Whether you are new to the game or a keen golfer, there’s always a warm welcome at Silver Birch – come and enjoy the stunning views and let our course help improve your swing.

Juniors and non playing caddies are always welcome on the course.
