Spean Bridge Golf Club Inverness-shire

The Spean Bridge golf course has a very traditional, Scottish, woodland layout. The natural features of the land have been incorporated into it to make for an interesting and challenging experience.
It lies on the south side of the West Highland railway line, the clubhouse opposite the station. Visitors are always made very welcome! The first hole, “platform one”, is a tricky par 3, with danger all around the green.
Step of the green onto the second tee and face the first of the daunting carries this course is famous for. After a successful drive, a steep ridge, from which the hole gets it’s name, usually means your second shot is blind. On to the third and a change of direction to the south gives you the first of the spectacular views of the Grey Corries and the Nevis Range mountains.
