A superb mixture of parkland and heathland, with stunning views over Lancashire and surrounding counties. The course measure 6411 yards with only two par fives and two par threes (one of which measures over 200 yards), Stand Golf Club represents a fine test for all standards of golfer.

For many years the course has been the envy of the area, with superb fairways and greens. The course is playable all year round due to its sand subsoil. The signature holes are the tough 4th, 9th and 10th, with the par 3 13th a picture in spring being surrounded by bunkers and rhododendron bushes.
