Strabane Golf Club Co Tyrone

Set in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains, this rolling parkland course is intersected by the River Mourne. The water hazard first comes into play at the testing par four 6th, “The River” where after a very demanding tee shot you are faced with a medium iron to a narrow slopping green.

It’s a card wrecker of the highest proportions and an absolute delight to play. Another noteworthy hole on this Eddie Hackett-designed course is a classic par three, named “Graveyard” which requires great courage and accuracy with an elevated green protected by bunkers to the front and sides. Strabane is an excellent test of golf and very popular with the locals.
