Situated less than half a mile from the A41 and one and a half miles from the M53, Upton-by-Chester Golf Club is highly accessible. The traditional (1934) parkland course is noted for its mature tree lined fairways and more recent USGA standard greens (2004).

The course measures 5,807 yards, par 69 for men and 5,253 yards, par 71 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test for any level of golfer. The excellent drainage and greens makes play possible throughout the year.
