Welcome to Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club – a beautiful place for a relaxing game of golf by the sea.

Based high up on the famous White Cliffs of Dover between Dover and Deal you’ll find the beautiful, James Braid designed, Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Course. It’s a very playable course with some unique challenges in truly wonderful surroundings, but what makes us really special is the club atmosphere and the diversity of people that come to play.

The course is played on the east and west side of a ridge on top of the Downs overlooking the village of Kingsdown with a refreshing sea breeze and incredible views of the English Channel. It’s a downland course measuring 6471 yards off the white tees and offers challenges for all abilities.

This was a golf club always intended to bring new players to the game, right from its opening in 1909. Most importantly this is a course for men, ladies, juniors and learners; all are welcome here to enjoy the game and the scenery and something good to eat and drink afterwards.

We welcome visitors and society bookings and are able to arrange a variety of packages to suit your needs. Our Professional, Jude Read, runs a golf academy and is available for lessons and can provide prizes or souvenirs like tee off photos and video.
