Wergs Golf Club Staffordshire

Wergs Golf Club Staffordshire

The golf course opened in 1990, followed by the club house in March 1991. The facilities include an 18 hole, well drained, gently undulating, parkland golf course, with a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees and several small streams and ditches. The course is 6949 yards from the white tees with a par of 73.

The course from the yellow tees is 6250 yards with a par of 72 and a scratch score of 70. There is a 20-acre practice area. Because of the excellent drainage, we are able to avoid the use of temporary greens and teeing-off mats during winter. This results in enjoyable and regular winter play. Visitors are most welcome to visit the club to view the facilities and course.
