The Arundell Devon

The Arundell is in the village of LIfton, in the heart of the rolling countryside of West Devon and equidistant from Plymouth, Exeter and Truro. Just over a mile from the A30 we offer a convenient, accessible and beautiful location. Perfect for meetings, reunions and special events.

We are perfectly situated less than five miles from Launceston Golf Club.

Our hotel has 21 bedrooms and a 2 bedroom self-catering cottage. The rooms are all simple, comfortable and relaxed. We are very dog-friendly with dogs welcome to stay in our Coach House rooms and our heated kennels.

Our location is perfect for exploring Devon and Cornwall, from sandy beaches to muddy Dartmoor walks. Our heated Wader Room is perfect for waders, wet coats and boots and even wetsuits.

Relax and completely switch off in our home from home. Our fireside library is for boardgames, cards, reading or chatting. Our rooms all have a bluetooth Roberts Radio and Wifi instead of a television. The perfect antidote to a busy day exploring.

Make time for breakfast, which is included in the room rate. Our bread, granola, jam and marmalade are all prepared here in The Arundell kitchen. All rooms include shampoo and bodywash from Faith In Nature and soap from the Clovelly Soap Company.

Dinner is served in our beautiful restaurant or cosy bar from 6pm – 8.45pm, our delicious mouth-watering menu has been designed by our Head Chef, Ashley Wright. Enjoy drinks in either our bar cosy drawing room, or beautiful garden. It is advisable to book, either by email, phone or our online booking system.

Lunch is served in the bar on weekdays and in the restaurant on Sundays from 12 – 3pm.

From Monday – Saturday we offer an a la carte menu, which includes a choice of sandwiches and a set menu.

We do advise booking, both to guarantee a table and to ensure we are open. Booking is available either through our online system, phone or email.
