The Belgrave Arms Hotel Sutherland
The Belgrave Arms hotel is small family run accommodation in the North of Scotland with a local reputation for good home made food and warm hospitality.
The Hotel was built in 1819. During the Second World War, the hotel building was used as the officer’s mess for military personnel stationed nearby – as all the pubs in Wick (to the North) were dry of alcohol!
Our East Sutherland based hotel accommodation has a mixture of en-suite and shared bathroom facilities. All the En-suite guest rooms have a bath and a shower, tea and coffee making facilities and colour television. All the other rooms in the hotel have tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions and wash basins.
Wireless internet connection available on request in certain areas of the hotel. Most hotel rooms offer a stunning sea vista or spectacular views out over the Scottish scenery.
The hotel caters for breakfasts, bar lunches and evening meals. Breakfast for your stay at the hotel is included in the tariff.
On a winters night the hotel public bar is the place to be, with a good malt whisky from our extensive range of local brands. You can chat with the locals who can spin yarns of past and present village life.
In those hot summer days and nights you can sit out in our hotel beer garden with good food and drink, taking in the wonderful East Sutherland views, where the children are safe to play.
