Arscott Golf Club is well worth a visit. Set in a wonderful location with fantastic views from all parts of the course across Shropshire’s border country. The 18 hole course has been open since August 1992 but its maturity belies its age. Massive old oak and beech trees grace the course along with the remains of long forgotten mining and brick making industries. Large pools on the 17th and 18th holes are evidence of the clay dug over 100 years ago for brickworks in nearby Cruckmeole and Hanwood. These pits now create very testing hazards on the last four holes, many golfers will tell you how they can change a winning card.
Golf at Hawkstone Park is truly a unique experience. The tremendous landscape is ideal for its two championship courses and 6 hole par 3 course, offering a wonderful contrast, suitable for golfers of varying standards. A golfing experience at Hawkstone Park will be a memorable occasion and a must for any golfing enthusiast. In addition to its three spectacular golf courses a range of off course practice facilities include a practice range, short game area and a team of PGA qualified professionals. A purpose built Golf Centre gives access to a well stocked golf shop, bar, restaurant and corporate business centre.
