Welcome to the Clarence House Hotel, superbly situated on the South Shore seafront, with stunning sea views!

The Clarence House Hotel is a 5 min, level walk to town centre or just across the road from steps leading down to the beach.

The Clarence House Hotel is open all year, except briefly over Christmas, New Year, Jan and Feb. The fully licensed Seagull Bar is open daily from 10am until midnight during high season.

Our lift provides easy access to all 6 floors, and easy access to our rooms, all of which are en-suite and the front bedrooms have superb seaviews.

All of our 76 bedrooms have tea/coffe makers, colour television and individually controlled room heating.

The Seagull Bar is open in high season from 10am to midnight – later on demand. Light snacks are served at lunchtime. In early and late season the bar is open according to demand.

Free ‘House’ Bar for an hour is offered to all resident paying guests on selected drinks.
