Dormy House Hotel Worcestershire
Dormy House Hotel
Dormy House, a 17th Century farmhouse hotel, is set in 400 acres of private grounds on the Farncombe Estate in Broadway, is the perfect Cotswold retreat. Following a multi-million pound refurbishment in 2013 Dormy House is one of the finest small luxury hotels in the Cotswolds. A brand new luxury spa – House Spa – will open in early 2014 and will offer a wide range of treatments, a swimming pool, a Veuve Clicquot Champagne nail bar, gym and thermal suite.
The Potting Shed at Dormy House
Relaxed and inviting, the large rustic oak bar with leather and stud detailing has been designed exclusively for the hotel. It is a focal point of the bar whilst the exposed timber flooring, antique mirrors and retro wall lighting complete the look. On the menu will be classic favourite British dishes, including hearty pies and traditional puddings using the finest local ingredients. The Potting Shed will serve food from 10am to 9.30pm seven days a week.
The Garden Room at Dormy House
The internal courtyard will welcome guests through into the restaurant with its large glass windows – a platform for the beautiful landscaped gardens outside. Alfresco dining will also be available during summer months on the covered terrace. Open six nights a week, it will offer an extensive menu focussing on locally-sourced produce and the relaxed but attentive service will show off delicious, well-executed dishes in a comfortable and unpretentious environment. A “Trust Me” menu will allow diners to hand back their menus and leave their dining experience in the hands of the Chefs.
Afternoon teas are a big feature at Dormy House and include Farmhouse Tea and High Tea with Champagne.
