Located in the charming village of Parkend, Edale House B&B is an ideal venue for your Forest of Dean holiday. A well restored and stylishly comfortable Georgian style guest house, the property has six en-suite bedrooms, a large guest lounge with licensed bar, breakfast room, off-road parking and relaxing gardens. At our Forest of Dean B&B we provide an award-winning breakfast and a warm welcome with tea and cake for all our guests.
With the Forest of Dean on our doorstep, and The Forest of Dean Golf Club just three miles away, there are a total of eight golf courses within 15 miles of Edale House.
We currently have available some discount vouchers to play Monmouth Golf Club (subject to availability).
Within a short distance of Edale House is the mysterious Puzzlewood (featured in episodes of Merlin and Doctor Who), Clearwell Caves, Cannop Ponds, The Dean Heritage Centre (The Museum of the Forest), GoApe, the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, two golf courses and many other attractions plus we are also not far from the beautiful Wye Valley.
There are many excellent pub/restaurants close by and Parkend is a historic village with a warm community and many facilities. Bike hire is available in the village, there are two pubs and there is a steam railway, shop and café.
Our rooms are furnished to a high standard, with Smart TV’s, tea/coffee making facilities and wireless internet access in every room. We have six bedrooms (five ensuite and one with a private shower room) two of which are dog friendly, a large guest lounge, breakfast room, gardens and forecourt parking. We are also licensed, and provide our guests with a well stocked bar with a range of hot and cold drinks at very reasonable prices.
Our breakfasts are always well received and we like to offer our guests a full range of options including a delicious home cooked traditional English breakfast with local sausages and hand cut local bacon, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices and tea and coffee. We also provide all guests with fresh tea, coffee and cake upon arrival.
At Edale House B&B in the Forest of Dean we cater for groups, including those on golfing, cycling or walking holidays, corporate breaks and family celebrations. We also have a secure storage facility for Golf Clubs/ Trolleys/& Kit- it is CCTV/ Alarmed and Steel bared for protection, we also have a wash area for your golf clubs.
