Lainston House Hotel Hampshire
We are very proud to be a Silver award-winner in the ‘Small Hotel of the Year’, Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2007, so there has never been a better time to join us.
Chef Andy MacKenzie and his talented team have been also been awarded a stunning three rosettes for their creative dining plus it’s never too hot for chocolate – Lainston House is home to the UK’s Official Chocolate Master, Mark Tilling.
An elegant 17th century house, framed by delicate archways and sweetly scented by a mass of colourful flowers is the picture perfect greeting to your stay. Immaculately tended gardens and grounds are perfect for a countryside amble in straw hats, before taking a seat on our stunning Al Fresco dining terrace – it’s in full sunny swing!
Alternatively take a seat in one of our gorgeous lounges, overlooking the lime tree avenue and let the flamboyant Francesco present you with his unbelievable signature cocktail ‘The Lainston Martini’ – complete with a very secret ingredient!
An irresistible fusion of the past with the present is how one would describe the fifty bedrooms and suites. Each with their own individual charm, they ensure a feeling of warmth, comfort and privacy whether you stay in The House, Chudleigh Court or the beautifully renovated Stables.
Our latest addition is nine junior suites named after fly fishing on the river Test.
All feature hand carved four poster, half tester, or Italian hand painted wrought iron beds; generous sitting areas with comfy sofas and arm chairs.
The bathrooms are stunning with Jacuzzi or roll top baths, all with walk in stall showers, heated floors and mirrors and the finest Italian marble throughout….
