Mansfield House Hotel Borders
Welcome to the Hawick Mansfield House Hotel. We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, weddings, functions, event management, and much more in approximately ten acres of established grounds on the outskirts of Hawick, the largest of the Scottish Border towns famous for the Common Riding, rugby and knitwear. The original house, which was built in the 1800’s as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel.
Food is styled by our Head Chef and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers. Informal dining is available in the hotel bar whilst the traditionally styled restaurant provides fine dining.
Our wine list offers value and quality from Europe and the New World. You will find the bar well stocked with malt whiskies, Belhaven Ales and lagers. During the summer months a different cask conditioned real ale is featured every week.
During your stay you will enjoy high standards of hospitality with excellent cooking, and sleep soundly on beds with fresh cotton sheets. Real log fires burn during the winter months.
Our bedrooms are located on the first floor and basement levels with a mixture of traditional features in the old house and more modern proportions and appointments in the new wing. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, direct-dial telephones, digital colour televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and ample space to make your stay comfortable. Many of the rooms are being fully refurbished during Spring 2010 including disabled access and facilities.
