If your’e looking for a place that’s brimming with charm, character, elegance and everlasting memories, we would like to welcome you to Margaret’s Cottage Bed and Breakfast, only yards from the first tee at Ardglass Golf Club in the county of Down, and only 40 minutes from Royal County Down in Northern Ireland.

Each of our three bedrooms has its own unique character and each is accompanied by either a modern en-suite or private bathroom. Our cosy bedrooms, which can accommodate up to a total of six guests, ere exquisitely designed and finished to the highest standard. It’s our attention to detail and all the little extras that will make a big difference to your stay at Margaret’s Cottage. We take luxury as standard, such as the hand baked sweets on your bedside table, hand chosen bath and shower condiments, large, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, hairdryers in each bedroom, flat screen TVs and DVD players and the daily newspaper.

As well as this, for weary golfers, we will dry your wet golf gear and welcome you back from a chilly round with a roaring coal fire, and fridge full of home baked delights in your guest drawing room. We’ll even book dinner for you in one of our fabulous local restaurants and we can heartily recommend the Guinness in our family pub 60 yards from our door.

As for breakfast? We like nothing better than to gather our guests around one big table for breakfast, overlooking the splendid 18th green of Ardglass Golf Club.

Fill up on home-baked breads or get tips on that tricky 2nd ‘Howd’s Hole’ over an Ulster Fry-made with free range eggs from just down the road and the finest bacon and sausages from our local village butcher. Indulge in delicious locally smoked salmon with bagels, or a huge stack of freshley made pancakes oozing with sticky sweet maple syrup. A breakfast at Margaret’s Cottage will set you up to meet the challenges of one of the best and most spectacular golf courses in the land.
