Middlethorpe Hall & Spa North Yorkshire
Middlethorpe Hall is a William III country house just two miles from York’s city centre, yet is set in 20 acres of its own beautiful gardens and parkland – the best of both city and country. Built in 1699, it was once the home of the famous diarist, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu, and today it is renowned for its excellent food, luxurious accommodation and boutique Spa.
Perfectly situated, less than four miles from Fulford Golf Club.
Middlethorpe Hall is known for its comfortable, luxurious atmosphere and the 29 guest rooms and suites in the main house and Courtyard are no exception.
Enjoy the best of country house dining, awarded 2 AA Rosettes and having twice won ‘Restaurant of the Year’ in the Visit Yorks awards, in the panelled dining rooms overlooking the gardens or al fresco on the south-facing terrace.
Secluded in its own private garden, the Middlethorpe Spa is waiting to take the stresses of the day away from you. We welcome Spa Club members and day guests, and hotel guests.
Our meeting rooms provide an exclusive environment in which privacy and confidentiality are assured, and executive services, as well as leisure activities are close at hand.
