Milsoms is a Victorian country house built in 1850 and was bought by Dorothy and Arthur Milsom in 1959. They ran it until 1981 when their son Gerald Milsom transformed it into the Dedham Vale Hotel and Terrace restaurant. Twenty years later, Geraldine Milsom transformed the building into a stylish bar and brasserie which is very much the heartbeat of milsoms. milsoms also has two rooms which are ideal for small meetings from 8 to 24 delegates.
Our fifteen stylish en-suite bedrooms all have crisp white linen, duvets and fluffy towels and are all equipped with mini bar, satellite television and tea making facilities.
We run an exciting and informal hotel that offers good value and professional service in a relaxed environment. The interior design was the work of Paul’s wife, Geraldine. She has transformed the building with her distinct contemporary design, a mix of natural flooring, surfaces and colours that enhance the original features of the building.
Heading up the team at Milsoms is executive chef/general manager Stas Anastasiades, along with accommodation manager, Gemma Graves, restaurant managers Zoran Durdevic and Matt Bain and bar manager Kat Daines.
