Playing Golf

Its not called Scotland’s Golf Coast without reason. Between the east of Edinburgh and Dunbar in a 25 mile stretch you will find 22 golf courses. This is the home to some of the worlds great links, the remarkable and quirky North Berwick West Links, The Old Golf Course at Mussellburgh where golf has been played since 1672 and Muirfield – one of the greats of the Open Championship.

This is the real home of golf, the rules were written here, first open championships played here, the club makers lived here and the professionals and caddies who traveled the world to play and create great courses.

The Scottish Open in recent years has been played at the Gullane Golf Club. Gullane is one of the jewels in the East Lothian crown when it comes to golf and offer three great links to to test players of all abilities.
