Recently redecorated, our hotel combines traditional elements with modern comforts; grey flagstone floors with tranquil colours and cosy couches to create a relaxed, inviting ambience. With 20 ensuite rooms, in a variety of styles, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Our comfy, double bedrooms all have their own ensuite bathroom with shower.

At the Northover, we pride ourselves on delivering great tasting food in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. We use locally sourced produce and all of our dishes are all cooked to order using fresh ingredients. Planning a private dining event? You can hire our restaurant for 20+ people for a delicious Lunch, Dinner or even Afternoon Tea!

Our oak and glass conference venue is a stylish space and is ideal for conferences, presentations, meetings, corporate functions, exhibitions, or team building events. We can accommodate both theatre and cabaret-style events with free wifi and parking to the rear of the Northover.

From our function room, there’s easy access to our gardens and dining area: Perfect for breaks, dining, team building and networking. If your attendees will be travelling, they are welcome to book a room in our comfortable hotel. We also have an onsite restaurant for all your catering needs. All our food is cooked on site using fresh, locally sourced foods, including a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

We’re easy to find – just off the A303 in Ilchester, 40 minutes from the M5 (junction 25) and 15 minutes from both Yeovil train stations (direct line from London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids).
