Unique bed and breakfast accommodation set in rural north Northumberland, ideally located for exploring the spectacular Northumbrian coastline and just five miles from Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club.

There are a total of six golf courses within fifteen miles of Preston House.

Preston House is an old country house with parts of the original building dating back to the 1500’s and located opposite the 13th-century “pele tower” Preston Tower.

The bed and breakfast was established in 2018 and is run by Serena and Aidan along with their two young children Freddie and Antonia.

Preston has six individual en-suite rooms. The two most spacious rooms are located in the main house and present traditional features and quintessential English interiors. They boast large luxurious bathrooms with extra large baths, providing a perfect excuse to relax and unwind.

Four further rooms are located in the newly converted Coach House and stylishly refurbished to blend classic features of the property with contemporary finishes and facilities. Each room has a sleek en suite shower room and guests can enjoy a drink in the comfortable lounge area.

All our rooms have king size or twin beds, Noble Isle toiletries, tea & coffee, TV’s and fibre Wifi.

We do our best to ensure the environment is at the forefront of what we provide and we continue to make small steps towards being more sustainable. We source local ingredients for our breakfast and use toiletries that are eco-friendly, vegan and cruelty free.

Guests can choose from traditional breakfasts such as a Full English or the infamous Craster Kippers, to lighter vegetarian options such as Pan Fried Halloumi & Avocado. We cater for all different diets and regularly adapt our dishes to accommodate food intolerances or more increasingly to vegan friendly.
