Rainors B&B  Wasdale Yurts  Holiday Cottage

Ideally situated less than five miles from Seascale Golf Club, Rainors Farm Lake District B&B offer one ensuite guest room, with a magnificent view of the Wasdale fells and spectacular surrounding landscape without even having to leave your bed!

Room 2 can accommodate single, double, twin or family occupancy; having one double bed and one single z-bed. We provide fresh, cotton bed linen, soft towels and coloured throws and a TV and tea and coffee hospitality tray in the room.

Full traditional English or vegetarian breakfasts are included and we are happy to cater for special dietary requirements but please let us know at the time of booking.

Packed lunches consisting of one hearty sandwich, one packet of crisps, two pieces of fruit, one snack bar and a carton of apple or orange juice are available on request

Should the weather be wet & mucky; there is a drying/utility room with a heated boot-rack, Sheila-Maid clothes airer, fridge and washing machine for guests use.

There is plenty parking space and safe storage for bikes etc….AND Free Wi-Fi

For the first time in the Wasdale Valley you will be able to experience a wonderful yurt holiday in the western Lake District.

Yurt in the Paddock sits proudly in the paddock at Rainors Farm B&B overlooking the Wasdale Valley in the Lake District. Raised from the ground on wooden decking, fully carpeted and with a window strategically placed so you can gaze out over Scafell Pike (England’s highest mountain) and the Wasdale fells without even leaving your bed! Wake up to sunrise over Scafell, watching the landscape turn golden, take a gentle stroll around the paddock and breathe in the beauty surrounding you.

Our second yurt, Yurt by the Stream, sits cozily tucked away in a secluded spot in the wild garden amongst oak and hazel trees, alongside a gentle babbling stream, but still with views of Scafell Pike and the spectacular surrounding landscape. Feel free to light a campfire in the picnic area of Yurt by the Stream for your “alfresco” dining and wake up to the gentle trickling of the stream.

For our prospective guests who would like to be a little more independent, we have Rainors Farm Lake District Holiday Cottage.

Available for short breaks, week stays or more, Rainors Farm Lake District Holiday Cottage will sleep four comfortably in one double room with a king size bed and one twin room with two single beds.

All beds are made up for you with fresh cotton bed linen and all we ask is that you bring your own toiletries.

Rainors Farm Lake District Holiday Cottage is centrally heated throughout, has a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, a fully functional Quaker style kitchen, workspace area for laptop etc. There is a DVD player complete with family DVD’s and free Wi-Fi

Rainors Farm Lake District Holiday Cottage has glorious views of the spectacular Wasdale landscape and a patio area with picnic bench to sit out and admire the views and a brick-built charcoal BBQ.

Parking is at the front of the house and there is also safe storage for bikes etc.
