Ravenstone Manor is a delightful 18th Century Manor House set within 3 hectares of grounds, situated at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake.
Rich in Cumbrian history, our 4 star Manor House provides exceptional customer service alongside spectacular views of the Lake, the neighbouring Fells and Cumbrian countryside.

Ideally situated for walking, hiking & biking in the stunning Northern Lakes, Ravenstone Manor offers a home from home atmosphere. Within the beautiful stone walls, you will find 20 charming en-suite bedrooms, a beautiful lounge, bar and games room all with warm, welcoming fires. Fed by the waters of Skiddaw, the Manor boasts its own fresh spring water that has quenched the thirst of its guests for over 50 years.

Launched in April 2013, Charlottes View at Ravenstone Manor promises a memorable dining experience. Highlighting the freshest local meats, cheeses and produce, our chefs’ craft and combine, to create aromas, flavours & textures that deliver exceptional dining for all of our guests, regardless of any dietary requirements they may have.

All dishes presented on our menus satisfy Coeliac/gluten free requirements, and can be adapted for many other dietary demands, with the variety and taste sure to please all discerning palates.

We proudly offer our traditional 5 course meal starting at £32.50 per person, or the very same menu a la carte. Local 10% discount is always applied.

Open to residents and non-residents alike, Charlotte’s View serves breakfast from 8:30 – 9:30am Monday through Friday, and through 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon tea & light bites are served all day, and dinner runs from 6:30 – 8ish. We do suggest that you give us a call to book, so that we may discuss any special requests and requirements for your meal

As we are ambassadors to Theatre by the Lake, offering a special discount on tickets, we will also cater to our Theatre going guests, with an early dinner seating or a late pudding to be enjoyed in either the bar or lounge after the show.
