The Castle Inn North Yorkshire

Come to The Castle Inn for delicious food, an excellent range of drinks and a good night’s sleep.

With beautifully designed space for relaxed dining and twelve lovely en suite bedrooms, our inn is popular with people living close by and visiting this stunning part of Yorkshire.

We can be found at the centre of historic Spofforth. The village is five miles south east of Harrogate and three miles from Wetherby and the A1.

We are ideally situated for your golf break, just 4 miles from Pannal Golf Club and a short drive to Knaresborough, Harrogate and Oakdale Golf Clubs.

The designs for each of our twelve en suite bedrooms are inspired by castles. 

Room rates include a cooked breakfast and continental selection. Breakfast is served until 11am Monday to Saturday and until 10.30am on a Sunday.

Our Alnwick bedroom is located on the ground floor. It has space to manoeuvre a wheelchair and has room for a single made-up Z bed for one child. Our Bamburgh Room has a sofa bed that can sleep two young children (ages 4-6). 

Our team prepares tasty, beautifully presented dishes that are also good value for money.

Breakfast is served from 7am Monday to Friday and 8am on a Saturday and Sunday. Our Main Menu is available from 12noon Monday to Saturday and we offer a special selection of dishes each Sunday.  

If you appreciate a perfect pint and a good choice of wine, then you will love our selection. We also serve a great cup of coffee and have a wide selection of other hot and soft drinks.

Draught beers, bottled ales and speciality lagers from around the world are all available. We are particularly pleased to offer local craft beers as guest ales.

Our wine list offers the perfect match for every occasion – from keenly priced house reds and whites through to gloriously indulgent fizz.
