The Inn at Kingsbarns Fife
Our Family Run 18th Century Coaching Inn is located in the rural Conservation Village of Kingsbarns. We and our staff take great pride in serving our Guests, Villagers and Holidaymakers.
We will offer Plat de Jour for our guests only. For guests, locals and visitors we are happy for take away food from local restaurants to be delivered and we will supply crockery and cutlery for a charge of £3.50 pp
Our barbecue area will operate in our garden for guests and the public in the summer months.
We hope you Coorie-Inn with food and maybe a wee dram or two with family and friends in our Bar or Snug. We have also created Gardens to the Front of the Hotel where you can enjoy food, drink and company in this west facing sun trap.
The Inn at Kingsbarns is trying to get up to speed and be sustainable and in so doing for Breakfast and Meals in the Scranhoose we will, where possible, source our ingredient’s as locally as we can from Butchers, Farmers, Fruit and Vegetable Farms of which we luckily have in abundance in the East Neuk of Fife. All our food waste is given to a Local Free Range Pig Farmer.
All Our Staff are paid in excess of The Scottish Living Wage with fair Working hours and Holidays with Pay.
Our 5 deluxe en suite bedrooms consist of two family rooms sleeping 4 Persons with a King-size bed and two single beds, two deluxe King-size rooms and one Super King-size room. All our beds have Egyptian cotton bedding, excellent Wi-Fi connections, comfy chairs, flat screen TVs, mini fridge and ironing facilities complete the rooms. The Inn offers local and seasonally available food primarily for our own guests, and prepared by your hostess, Annette. With our 5 rooms, we can accommodate groups of up to 14 guests.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay free of charge in our Family bedrooms (only one dog per room allowed). We ask that owners of Large Dogs call us to make sure they are suitable for the bedrooms and the Inn’s public areas.
The World famous Kingsbarns Golf Links is but 5 mins away, with Crail the Worlds seventh oldest Golf Links Club 10 mins away and the Castle Links Course, and the most famous Golf Course in the World, St Andrews Golf Links, just 15 minutes away, all by car.
Local attractions are the traditional fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem and Anstruther with the award winning Kingsbarns Beach, The Secret Bunker, Cambo House and Gardens, Kingsbarns Whisky and Gin Distillery and Fife Coastal Path.
