The Millcroft Hotel Ross-shire

The Millcroft Hotel is set in Gairloch on the rugged and beautiful West coast of Scotland. The hotel is owned and run by a family group which prides itself in offering a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy your stay.

We offer both hotel rooms and self catering apartments, most of which command splendid seaviews. Great emphasis is placed on the quality of our food which is mostly local produce and seafood. Our head chef has travelled the globe and has many recipes and styles of cooking at her disposal. This has been realised in the varied and interesting menus which can be savoured in the Red Room restaurant or one of our two bars.

Gairloch is a picturesque village offering plenty of opportunities for either an active break or a quiet, relaxing holiday. The village itself has three glorious sandy beaches offering safe swimming.

There’s a nine-hole golf course, boat trips on the loch, opportunities for loch and sea angling, pony trekking and marine cruises to see whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals and a wide range of coastal and mountain bird life.

All bedrooms have been designed with the comfort of guests in mind. We have single, double and twin rooms, most of them overlooking Gairloch Bay to the Torridon mountains. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.30am. Wireless internet is available free of charge. All rooms have the following features
