The Morningside Hotel Devon

Boasting one of the best locations in the English Riviera, The Morningside Hotel is situated in close proximity of all of Torbay’s major attractions. The 15 bedroom licensed hotel resides on the clifftop promenade of Babbacombe, an area that enjoys stunning views across Lyme Bay, as well as an immaculate beach at Oddicombe Sands served by a traditional cliff railway, which has been in operation since 1926.

The hotel complements it’s panoramic views with elegant twin, double, and family bedrooms styled for the comfort and relaxation of all our guests.

The Morningside Hotel has 15 attractive bedrooms, many with sea views and all en-suite. The Hotel has its own gardens to relax and enjoy a drink from its licensed bar. There is off-road parking for patrons and friendly staff on hand to help. We have just completed the construction of ‘The Orangery’ , our new conservatory restaurant. 

A spacious lounge offers any weary traveller a place to put their feet up, with comfortable seating, television and reading areas. The bar fronts the dining area and is a perfect place to unwind and find a place to sit and watch the World go by on the Downs and on the expanse of sea covering Lyme Bay.
