The Tankerville Arms Hotel

We are ideally situated for your golf break, with thirteen stunning golf courses within twenty miles of The Tankerville Arms.

We are situated in the heart of the ancient county of Northumberland and have 17 available hotel rooms all en-suite with freeview telly, tea/coffee making facilities and WIFI. Some are dog friendly, some we keep dog free.

We also have self-catering options: ‘The Garden House’ next to the hotel has its own access and a private garden with 2 doubles, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room. We are building 5 other cottages next to the hotel so more self-catering will be available soon (from June 2021).

We welcome groups, have drying rooms for the wet traveller and private dining areas can be arranged. We also offer some superb dinner, B&B packages.

Our elegant Cheviot Restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere overlooking our lovely gardens, or you can choose to dine in the Chillingham Room which adjoins the Copper Bar where you can meet and mix with the other guests. Using fresh local produce that is in season, and produced within a few miles of the hotel, we create the very best of Northumbrian fayre for our visitors to enjoy – our hugely popular Sunday lunches are a testament to this. We are passionate about producing top quality dishes, and for that, we need top quality ingredients, so wherever possible we work with small, local, independent suppliers.
